Mac Admins Foundation Exceeds Fundraising Goal For Initial Membership Drive

The Mac Admins Foundation is proud to announce the resounding success of its inaugural membership drive, exceeding its original target by an astounding 75%. The campaign–which ran over the past two weeks–not only brought in a record number of new members but also demonstrated the growing strength and importance of the global community of Mac administrators and IT professionals.

The Foundation set an initial goal to recruit 100 new recurring donors, and thanks to the enthusiastic support from professionals across the globe, over 175 individuals joined the organization’s sponsorship rolls, reflecting a massive surge in interest and commitment to the values of knowledge-sharing, innovation, and collaboration within the Mac administration field.

“We are absolutely thrilled by the overwhelming response to this membership drive,” said Campaign Chair and Board Member John Mahlman. “To exceed our goal speaks to the energy and passion within the Mac administration community. This growth will help us expand our educational resources, enable more scholarships, and provide greater support for those working with Apple technologies in enterprise and educational environments.”

The Mac Admins Foundation’s mission is to foster a collaborative, inclusive environment for IT professionals working with Apple products, with a focus on supporting career growth, developing best practices, and fostering community. The successful membership drive will help the Foundation continue to provide essential resources such as its renowned training programs, community-driven events, and advocacy for the Mac administration profession.

The Foundation has been at the forefront of connecting IT professionals by providing scholarships to annual conferences, promoting user groups, and fundingthe Mac Admins Slack, thereby providing a space for members to exchange ideas, troubleshoot problems, and learn from one another. With this increase in membership, the Foundation is now poised to expand its impact, offering even more opportunities for networking, professional development, and collective problem-solving.

"We are excited about the future of the Mac Admins Foundation and the role our new members will play in shaping it," said Foundation Co-Chair Tom Bridge. "This is just the beginning of what promises to be an even more vibrant and dynamic community in the years to come."
