Donating to the Mac Admins Foundation via ACH bank transfer

Thank you for choosing to donate to the Mac Admins Foundation. This foundation was set up to benefit the Mac admin professional community and your gift to us will help us with our mission of aiding all Mac admins through the services we can provide.

However, we also know that your gift is intended to enrich the community and not our donations mechanism. As part of keeping all of our costs down, we offer the option of donating to the Mac Admins Foundation via bank transfer. This option has lower fees and helps make sure that any transfer costs are kept to a minimum. In turn, this ensures that your gift goes as much as possible to providing the help you intended.

To donate via bank transfer, please follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Go to https://www.macadmins.org/donate

2. Select the amount you would like to donate, then click the Next button.
3. Enter the requested information, including if you want to make an anonymous donation, then click the Next button.

4. When given the choice to pay with a credit card or bank transfer, please click on the Bank Transfer option.

5. Donorbox uses a third-party service called Plaid to manage donations via bank transfer and the donation box will disclose that. If you choose to proceed, please click the Continue button.

6. Select the bank which has the bank account you want to make a donation from. For this example, we will be using Bank of America.

7. Log into your account as you would at your bank’s online banking site.

8. Plaid will confirm if you have successfully linked your bank account to Donorbox, which is necessary for the bank transfer to successfully complete. If successful, please click the Continue button.

9. Choose the bank account from which you want the donation funds to be drawn, then click the Continue button.

10. If successful, you will receive a notification that your payment is being processed.
