About the Migration
The Mac Admins Slack is migrating from Business+ to Enterprise Grid. The migration will begin on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 03:30 UTC. Migration start times for multiple time zones are listed in the chart below.
Slack estimates 18 hours of hard downtime for the migration, taking us to roughly 21:30 UTC on Saturday 10 October. During that time the workspace will be unavailable. Following the return to availability, Slack estimates 10 hours of additional background work to migrate DMs.
The timing is deliberate, as we expect the bulk of the migration should finish over the weekend for most of the working world. Even in APAC and Japan, we expect it to be complete before work begins Monday.
Additional details will follow this week, including new login requirements, changes that may affect you, what might break, and where to look if something does. For now, if you run integrations, feeds, rss or anything else that talks to the workspace, now is a good time to document them.
