Running or know of a conference, meetup, or user-group event for the Mac Admins community? Help us keep the Community Calendar complete.
Submissions go through a short form on GitHub. A Mac Admins Foundation volunteer reviews each one, and approved events are added to the community calendar — which the site refreshes automatically every day.
You’ll need a free GitHub account. Prefer not to use GitHub? Mention your event in the #macadminsfoundation channel on the Mac Admins Slack and we’ll take it from there.
What makes a good fit
Events that work well on the calendar are:
- Broadly relevant to the Mac admin community, or to a clear subgroup (a region, or customers of a specific vendor)
- Live — in person or virtual — with high-quality technical or professional content
- Open and welcoming to all attendees, whether free or paid
Sales pitches, invite-only gatherings, and pre-recorded events aren’t a fit.
What happens next
- We review it. A volunteer checks the details and eligibility.
- It’s added to the calendar. Approved events flow into the Community Calendar — sourced from the community-maintained macadmins-calendar project — and appear on the site within a day.
