How to Apply


Applications are open from July 9, 2026 through July 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT.

The application will ask about your background, your involvement in the Mac Admins community, and your interest in serving on the board. There are no trick questions — we want to understand who you are, what motivates you, and how you like to work.

What to expect after applying:

  • All applications will be reviewed by the current board
  • Selected candidates will be invited to a two-round interview process:
    • An initial conversation with two at-large board members
    • Followed by a conversation with the co-chairs
  • We aim to have new board members confirmed and announced by mid-August 2026

A Note on Who Should Apply

If you’re reading this and thinking, “I’m not sure I’m qualified,” we’d encourage you to apply anyway. We’re not looking for a perfect resume — we’re looking for people who care about this community, want to contribute, and are willing to grow.

Some of the strongest contributors started out unsure they were ready, but they showed up, learned, and made an impact. Serving on the Board is a chance to give back to the community that has supported so many of us throughout our careers and help build what comes next.
